It's like they built the person up to be perfect, but once they start to notice the imperfections.. it all goes downhill from there. Of course there are always exceptions, very unlikely, but they might still occur.Cheriinoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2816697749801047913.post-61214151883245410982010-07-18T19:40:12.147-04:002010-07-18T19:40:12.147-04:00I guess you've got loads of opinions so might ...I guess you've got loads of opinions so might not really need an extra one but here goes...

The best way to explain the difference is to see it this way. When you think of infatuation, think of romance. Butterflies, giggling, lust... All that good Hollywood stuff. Feels fucking amazing if I say so myself. :) Now, when you think of love, imagine God. Or at least the Biblical description of God. Agape (selfless) love. The kind that would sacrifice anything unconditionally. The kind that mothers have. We all know how African mothers go through all sorts of shit in their "husbands' houses" for the sake of their family and children.

So the difference is obvious. Infatuation is more immediate, but love is more intense. It is built on trust and loyalty- you are prepared to give whatever it takes without necessarily expecting a reward. You do it just because. Infatuation, on the other hand, is based on how the person makes you feel. This is why people lose that "butterflies in the stomach" feeling and claim they have fallen out of love, not knowing it was never love to begin with.

Sorry for the essay o... infatuation leads to obse...this is my opinion lol..
infatuation leads to obsession!love and infatuation are so not the same, but people mix them up like crazy, cos the feelings are similar...most people who are infatuated by a person are merely just overly attracted to something the person has, once that thing is gone, the feelings stop. But when you love someone, you over look their faults, accept them for who they are and eventually grow into a deeper more intimate relationship. :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2816697749801047913.post-737128797184288602010-07-18T17:13:40.613-04:002010-07-18T17:13:40.613-04:00I don't think infatuation is real. Infatuation...I don't think infatuation is real. Infatuation is idolizing someone and not seeing their flaws.. you don't see the whole picture.
